This is not a lip stain or lipstick. The oils are infused with pure Alkanna Tinctoria, which is a herbaceous flowering plant in the borage family Boraginaceae. The roots are used to produce a red dye. The infusion process allows the natural red dye to be released from the root, thus it will not produce a strong or bright color but a soft, opaque pink/burgundy natural tone.
